What is a healthy lifestyle? Having a healthy lifestyle means that you have a healthy mind as well as a healthy body. A healthy lifestyle allows you to enjoy life fully. You can achieve this in three simple steps.
            Be happy. Worrying about something can affect your emotional health. Talk to someone you are close to and trust. They could be your parents, your teacher, or your friend. They can help you to see the problem from a different perspective. Very often, after you have talked to someone about it, the problem does not seem so bad after all.
            Exercise regularly. Exercise can help relax your mind and body. It stimulates your body to produce a hormone which gives you a relaxed feeling. It also strengthens your heart muscles. Exercise is also good for your body. You lose unwanted fat and you will feel more energetic. There are a lot of events organized for young people nowdays. "Rakan Muda", for example, offers youth a variety of physical activities such as sports and martial arts.
            Eat the right food. Having a balanced diet is part of a healthy lifestyle. Avoid junk food or food rich in fat, sugar or salt. Eat more fruit and vegetables. Make sure your body gets the proteins, vitamins and minerals it needs in order to grow and stay healthy.
            If you practise these three steps, you will be happy and have a healthy lifestyle.
